Authenticated Buyers
Re-offer.com encourages all buyers to become ‘Authenticated Buyers’. Some sellers have indicated that they will only accept bids from authenticated buyers. You can apply to become an authenticated buyer at any time by sending to Re-offer.com a photocopy of your passport (the picture page only) along with two original utility household bills (originals and not copies) showing your name and home address both of which must correspond with the details used by you when you registered as a user at Re-offer.com. Once Re-offer.com has received these submissions your account will be marked with the ‘Authenticated Buyer’ symbol () which sellers rely on to identify you as a trusted user of Re-offer.com. As an ‘Authenticated Buyer’ sellers are more likely to treat you with increased confidence when accepting your bids in the knowledge that you are a bonifide user of the site. In addition, as an ‘Authenticated Buyer’ you can also apply for special ‘Anonymous Bidder’ status which will allow you to place a bid for any lot on the site as a trusted and authenticated buyer but without the need for your interest in a lot to be declared to other users.
